Make sure you don't have any DMZ host configured in your router settings. If you are trying to connect to Shadow or another cloud service: You'll need to get your own dedicated router. 
If you are using a public Wi-Fi from an apartment building or office, those often prevent communication between devices. Make sure you have 'Full cone NAT' or 'Open NAT' enabled in your router settings if such an option exists. Make sure your PC isn't running VPN software. If using McAfee, Norton, or any other anti-virus, try disabling them or adding an exception for Virtual Desktop Streamer. If using Avast or AVG, make sure the Firewall network profile is set to Private instead of Public. Make sure the Windows Firewall isn't blocking all connections ( see here) and restart your computer. Make sure your computer is connected to the same router and is on the same network as your headset (the headset might be on a Guest network for example). Image Scaling is not supported in SLI Mode, Surround Multi-Monitor Clone/Duplicate Mode, Tiled Display, Direct Display, VR, and Integer Scaling mode.If you see a ' Not on same network' warning and are not connecting through the internet remotely:. Image Scaling is not Supported for Pre-Pascal GPUs while using the YUV 422 color format. Image Scaling is not supported for Pre-Ampere GPUs while using the YUV 420 color format. For Maxwell and Pascal GPUs, Image Scaling does not support HDR. 
Image Scaling supports HDR for Turing & Ampere GPUs. It is recommended to use the NVIDIA Control panel to set or switch between scaling resolutions on desktop. For games that don’t offer a proper Full Screen mode and Image Scaling is not getting engaged, you can set the resolution of your desktop equal to in-game resolution, which will enable NVIDIA Image Scaling. Image Scaling nativity works when the game or application is running in Full Screen mode (e.g: “exclusive full screen” in some games - not “borderless windowed” or “fake fullscreen”). 
To enable NVIDIA Image Sharpening for an external monitor, please disable the notebook’s internal display panel. For MSHybrid/Optimus notebook configurations, users will have to first set their notebook from mshybrid mode to discrete GPU mode.Image Scaling requires that the display is driven by an NVIDIA GPU (handling the scan-out to the display).Currently, the following limitations apply:
